Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a  Instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

• 1- and 2-rescuer child CPR and AED use
• 1- and 2-rescuer infant CPR
• Cardiac, respiratory and shock case discussions and simulations

Key changes in pediatric advanced life support, reflecting the new science from the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care

• Management of respiratory emergencies
• Resuscitation team concept
• Rhythm disturbances and electrical therapy
• Systematic Approach to Pediatric Assessment
• Vascular access

The PALS Provider Course  has been updated to reflect new science and training recommendations in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. The AHA has developed new PALS Provider Course materials that will aid in providing quality and consistency in all PALS Courses. Mandatory pre-course self assessment and pre-course work will be sent upon receipt of registration. 

Upon registering for your course, you will receive an email with a  "Go To Training" link this will give you access to the webinar on the date/time you registered for. You will have to register with Go To Training again, but will not be charged again.
